jardins sous la pluie

"For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world." (Oscar Wilde)
Antonio Sant’Elia
The most prominent Italian futuristic architect, who died during the first world war, significantly influenced contemporary architecture.
As other members of the futurism movement, he supported war as a way to renovate the world. He favored technology, industry, technical and scientifical progress and urban centres. This is evidently reflected in his architectural designs, which, way ahead of their time, resemble space-like buildings from sci-fi novels.
